Pepsi advert
She's back! Beyoncé released her Pepsi advert a few hours ago, and yes that is good, but what got music lovers and fans tails wagging is that a track called Grown Woman was played in the background! From the small snippet it sounds amazing and what's better is that we don't have to wait months to hear it, Billboard have said it will be fully premiered on Monday, which is my birthday guys ;) Back to the ad, it is amazing, dancing with...well, herself. She has Crazy In Love Beyoncé, Single Ladies Beyoncé along with many more. It is a spectacle, even though Pepsi isn't very involved in it, much like in Nicki Minaj's ad last year. Will you be listening to Beyoncé's Grown Woman, I know I will, and I will sure be reviewing it very very soon.
GIRLS ALOUD SPLIT AFTER 10 YEARS
We all knew it was coming but it seemed to be out of nowhere. They just finished their last tour date and took to twitter to address the split! For me they were there my whole childhood, so I'll miss them very much! But so will the music industry, every single but 2 hit the top 10! They were huge. They attempted a comeback late last year and it sort of fell on its arse. First single reached number 2 and quickly fell, second single didn't make top 100, the album didn't perform terribly well, we have to think if they retrieved their former success, would they still be around. But after ten very successful years they have a lot to be proud about! As solo stars I'm sure some will be amazing, while others...well not so much. Cheryl will stay around for a few more years, even if her singles and albums aren't the best. Sarah Harding...well I don't know what she is doing with her life, she hasn't done much the last 3 years. Kimberly Walsh is a good singer but lacks star power. Nadine, she will do good, she need to get in a big label because she has the talent and the voice, but a power force in the form of a record company need to push her. Finally, my favourite, Nicola Roberts. This woman is amazing, she has a fashion eye, beauty eye, can write amazing songs, and her voice is amazing! Her solo album Cinderella Eyes was amazing and deserved more chart success, as did her singles. But more importantly she was an amazing critical success! But I wish all the girls luck in their future, whatever it may be <3
The Brits 2013!
So, did you watch the Brits? I wouldn't blame you if you didn't, towards the end it did get a little boring, but ome of the performances were amazing. Justin Timberlake performed 'Mirrors', which is a million times better than Suit & Tie, Taylor Swift rubbed Harry's face in it with I Knew You Were Trouble, which contained awkward dance moves and finally the brilliant Emeli Sandé......tihs woman is perfect! Her performance of Clown and Next To Me was perfect! Last year she won Critics Choice and performed on the pre-show and this year she won Best British Female and Best Album and performed as the headline act for the evening....what a difference a year makes! Let me get something clear....One Direction weren't going to win this year because we couldn't vote for the winners and judges were, making it fairer, so what did the Brits do.....they made up and award called 'Global Success', which is pathetic, fair enough they have had worldwide success but make up an award....seriously! Lady gaga cancels tour because of injury
There is no hiding that I am a little monster so I obviously feel for her and respect her, but I think everybody should respect her, for a month she has danced nearly every night on a hip injury. Now after keeping it a secret so she could keep performing to her little monsters she has made her injury even worse. At first 4 shows were cancelled, now the rest of the date have been cancelled. Gaga is an artist who cares more about her fans than she does about her own health and to push herself to these limits shows how much of a strong and caring performer she is. Now needing surgery her life is on hold, ARTPOP is delayed, this probably hurts Gaga the most because even though her fans don't care about ARTPOP any more and just care about her health she will be thinking of us and depriving us. But all we can say is get well soon Gaga and than you for giving us your all over the last year on tour. Thank you <3 The Queen Will Be Back!
rylan clark wins cbb
Celebrity Big Brother may be on channel 5 now but the last few series have been some of the best ever...and this series was no different! Rylan stormed to victory beating 'Speidi' (Heidi and Spencer...yes the british nicknames are so original -.-). If he didn't win this series it would have been a shame, he has been so entertaining throughout the series, either being silly, funny or expressing his opinion, he has created amazing TV. Him being on this show has shown the rest of the UK what some of the public lved about him when he was on X Factor...and that is that he's genuinely nice person who wouldn't hurt anyone. Well Done Rylan!
barack obama's inauguration
It has been Obama's Inauguration in the US over the last two days.....and what a celebrity fest it was! There has been Katy Perry, Kelly Clarkson, Alicia Keys and Jennifer Hudson. You may think I have missed a few names off that impressive list....well I have, three to be exact! Firstly Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett 'main eventing' the bash, and smashing it! Lady Gaga sang hits such as Born This Way, You and I and her hit with Bennett Lady Is A Tramp. But one of the stories that has been on the news in the UK was Beyonce and her supposedly lip syncing the national anthem. Did she? Didn't she? Why don't you make your mind up by watching the clip below.
Lady gaga is gearing up for her new single
Lady Gaga may have not mentioned anything directly regarding her new single, but their are people doing that for her! Lady Gaga's new single is reportedly being called either 'Rachet' or 'Tea', if it is indeed called 'Rachet' then it may be another amazing song with the wonderful Beyonce. Beyonce has been posting pictures left, right and centre with the word 'Rachet' being either one earrings or clothing, hinting that this is her new single. But if that's not enough rap mogul Azealia Banks has worked on a track with Lady Gaga called 'Rachet' that we definitely know about. So all fingers are pointing towards a song that involves Lady Gaga, Beyonce and Azealia Banks, can we handle this, I know I can't! If you don't hear from me after this single is released you know why!
LADY GAGA PERFORMS 'GIMME SHELTER' WITH ROLLING STONES
Last night in New Jersey the Rolling Stones had their PPV night of their tour, special guests such as Bruce Springsteen and Black Keys, but Lady Gaga stole the show. The performance was so full of energy with Gaga and Jagger strutting around the stage like a pair of nutters. Gaga's vocals were on point and perfect! Watch the video on YouTube!
Emeli sande named artist of the year
After performing at 2 Olympic ceremonies and having the best selling album of the year Sande has been named Artist Of The Year by ITunes. She has also received the Brit for Critics Choice Awards earlier this year and her single Next to Me is in the top 10 selling songs of the year. This woman must be on cloud nine right now, after having the year of her life this award just tops it off, so this Christmas she can just put her little Scottish feet up by the fire and relax for a few weeks.
KE$HA - WARRIOR ONLY SELLS 900 COPIES IN THE UK ?
If this is true then I am so disappointed in to be British right now! I mean for me this album is in my top 5 albums of the year. In times where a man called Psy can reach number 1 with a song that nobody understands I shouldn't really be surprised that good music is failing in the charts, I just hope that by the time Beyonce, Lady Gaga and Jessie J come back that the music industry....well the British public have fixed their music buying habits.
