p!nk - walk of shame
Well I reviewed this track nearly a year ago, and now it has a video. This song is so fun, and sassy, just like what we all love from P!nk tracks. It has Pink's humor that makes this excellent. Will it perform in the charts, well no, not worldwide, it's only released in Australia, but it is sure to chart at least in the top 10 there. The video is of her tour, The Truth About Love Tour (which I went to, and it was friggin' amazing). Also, the tour video comes in time for the release of Pink's The Truth About Love Tour DVD, which was mostly filmed in America. The promo for these singles and this album has been perfect! But back to the track, I would definitely recommend this to whoever hasn't heard it already, it will have you tapping your feet after the first 30 seconds.

Katy Perry - Walking on air
Don't let the mellow sounding title put you off this track, it it a fist pumping disco tune! If, like me, you were put off by her last promotional single Dark Horse, go and listen to this! It will make you excited all over again for PRISM! This song has a EDM style verse tune with quite basic lyrics, but the fact she managed to get the word Euphoria into them makes up for it, and a 90's style chorus and chant. The chant is another voice singing 'tonight' at points throughout the track, but the chorus is by far the highlight of the song, along with the bridge. The chorus is very repetitive, with 'Waling On Air' sung like 1 million times, but you still never get bored. The bridge shows off Perry's very strong vocals (even if she can't quite match them live). I would definitely recommend this track, and hopefully it does well in the charts.

STOOSHE - SLIP
Click the image to watch on YouTube
This is Stooshe's new single Slip.....and it's amazing! If you have never heard one of these girls songs then, 1) where the hell was you all summer, Black Heart took fucking over, 2) go and listen to their other songs, which they have done lyric videos to, Hoochi Mumma for example, wich is amazing! But back to Slip, it brings in old vibes like Christina Aguilera did in Ain't No Other Man and mixes it wit a fresh beat. Like with all Stooshe songs they bring a sense of fun which adds to the energetic nature of the track! This song not only uses their voices (which are fucking brilliant, I've saw them live, they give Beyoncé a run for her money) to the maximum, but they don't let the beat take over, which is what a lot of artists do nowadays. This song deserves at least top 3, if not number 1. If it doesn't get your feet tapping there is something wrong with you.

Nicole scherzinger - BOOMERANG

You just must listen to this song! It is one of the catchiest songs of the last year (yes, after 'Call Me Maybe'). I listened to it once and I couldn't stop singing it! This is Nicole's new song due out in March, and the first single from her new album, due out in 2013. 'Oh, woah, oh, woah, oh, woah, I'm a boomerang' will be stuck in your head for days. Other than it being a catchy song, it is also amazing! It uses her soothing, but sexy voice over a sure fire club hit and the end result is amazing! After her judging role on X Factor I hope this receives the chart success it deserves.

NICKI MINAJ - MARILYN MONROE

I have always loved this song since her album was released back in April. This is the perfect ballad with a rocky edge, her voice (which she does have people! I've saw her live, I so I know!) is so sweet and is allowed to soar over the beat. In this track Nicki's voice is very vulnerable which is something we don't see in many Nicki Minaj tracks as she is usually her bad by alter ego Roman Zolanski! If you don't like Nicki then I'd just go and listen to this song anyway because it might just change your mind on her!

TAYLOR SWIFT - I KNEW YOU WERE TROUBLE

I'm not Taylor Swift's biggest fan but I'm loving the songs off this album (We Are Never Getting Back Together, Begin Again) and this song is no exception! The video may help as she looks beautiful! But her voice is allowed to soar on this track over the very little dubstep on this track. The lyrics are wrote from here heart, and unlike many singers she feels the lyrics of her songs. If Taylor keeps releasing songs like this I might be her new biggest fan!

Rihanna ft mikky ekko - stay

This song is very simple, unlike most other songs on Rihanna's repertoire, like We Found Love and S&M. On her new album she has really gone full out with showing off her wonderful vocals. Rihanna has always been at the front of critics jokes about vocals but this song should shut the critics up. Her vocals shine and the prolong of 'Stay' over the amazingly played piano is beautiful. But I don't see the point of Mikky Ekko on this song, he adds nothing to this song and when she sings it live she sings his part beautifully. Overall I'd say that this song deserves a top 3 in the UK.

PINK FT NATE RUeSS - JUST GIVE ME A REASON

This is going to be P!nks third single from her top selling album (and my favourite of the year) The Truth About Love. This song grew on me, but that is nothing about P!nk, its my opinion of Fun.'s Nate Ruess, I'm not a very big fan of his high, sometimes very girl like voice. But this song is very emotional and as usual, P!nk adds her raspy voice to make this song perfect. She out sings Nate constantly. The only criticism is where this song is placed on the album, but I'm not really a large fan of ballads so that is my own opinion, out of context it is perfect. But I'm still waiting for P!nk to release Slut Like You!

Girls Aloud: Beautiful 'Cause You Love Me

This song is truly beautiful! It has lead vocals from the beautiful Nicola Roberts, her soothing voice matches this track perfectly. The line 'Right now the whole world could call me ugly' suits her due to the hate that she received during the early part of her career. Thanks god that Cheryl has took a step back, I feared that she would dominate the group, and in 'Something New' she kinda did. But I am surprised that Nadine doesn't sing a solo line as she possibly has the strongest voice in the group. Overall this song is beautiful and deserves the best sales possible.

KE$HA - C'MON
Click the image to watch on YouTube
This song is actually epic!!!!! The chorus just makes your body get up and dance, yes its a magical track! The first part of the song sounds as though it will be a country ballad but then it kicks in and its classic Ke$ha. The fast talking (no, not rapping, its Ke$ha talk) is classic Ke$ha verses about partying, sex and just having fun. But again, that chorus is just epic, if you don't at least start tapping your foot to it then you need an hearing aid! If I were you I'd go and listen to this right now!!!

JAMES ARTHUR - IMPOSSIBLE
Click the image to watch on YouTube
So, its the X Factors winning single....the last one that I liked was Alexandra Burke's Hallelujah so its hard to impress me. I won't lie, I'm not James's biggest fan but this song is okay, probably because I like the original, but when he sings it live it is quite good. But I really don't like the recorded version. For me, even though he looks like he has a fit on stage, he does get the emotion across, and the recorded version just doesn't put across the emotion. But one thing we can be thankful for, he doesn't go high pitched on this song, because when he does he sounds like I do when I kick the door!
